| Adventure level | Anyone can join Tag-A-Long Expeditions on this great one-day trip. Half the day is spent on some playful rapids on the Colorado River and half the day is spent in a 4X4 vehicle exploring Canyonlands National Park. The big thrills come when we drive the narrow switchbacks of Shafer trail. We hug the cliff on one side and look down a thousand feet or more on the other! Some of the best scenery in America is right here on this trip! · Backcountry – Soft 4X4 roads · Stops and very short walks to viewpoints Fitness Level: Average to below average. No hiking.
